Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Electrical Maintenance Engineer focuses on carry out planned preventative maintenance (ppm) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and fabric systems.

What the role involves

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and fabric systems.
• Perform electrical maintenance including lighting installations, lamping, ballast changes, and fault finding.
• Carry out emergency lighting testing and maintenance.
• Operate BMS systems, including temperature checks (hot & cold).
• Maintaining control panels and power distribution systems.
• Carry out basic plumbing duties including unblocking toilets and minor repairs.

Skills and requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates.
