Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Job description
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer position centres on working with systems including sensors, motors, drives, and control panels. It would suit someone who can bring carry out planned or reactive electrical maintenance with safe, hands-on technical completion to the role.
Who the work supports
Diagnosing faults across single-phase and three-phase (415V) systems. This is a dynamic role offering a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and involvement in continuous improvement and project work.
How support shows up
Working with systems including sensors, motors, drives, and control panels. Working with AC/DC systems, inverters, and PLCs (Siemens). Identifying root causes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What needs to be in place
- Electrical maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.
- Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Job details
- The successful engineer will be working within a high-speed production area, responsible for maintaining and improving machinery that produces up to 26,000 units per hour.
- 3 Shift Pattern (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm / 10pm–6am).
