Skills and requirements
- Providing technical advice to the wider team, referring to up-to-date technical knowledge, and providing training or support for technical trainees if required.
- Monitor treatment processes using the SCADA system and act on alarms as required.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Take Ownership of responding quickly to faults, being curious to fully understand the problem, and identifying the best solution to resolve it the first time.
Confirmed role details
- Monday-Friday 7:30-15:36, 38 hours per week, including working on a call-out rota where you will receive additional payment.
- Have considerable experience in electrical and systems. A time-served apprenticeship in an engineering sector, NVQ level 3 or greater in electrical engineering.
- Have qualifications in BS7671 or 18th Edition electrical wiring regulations. Experience in maintaining, testing, installing and fault diagnosis on electrical plant equipment safely.
- Participation in a 24/7 out-of-hours standby rota will be required after a suitable period of training and assessment, for which you will receive additional payment.
