What the role involves

  • Conduct electrical product testing in the laboratory and at client sites, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
  • Produce accurate test reports and certification documentation in line with accreditation and quality requirements.
  • Managing workload effectively to meet project timelines, budgets, and departmental targets.
  • Supporting the calibration and maintenance of test equipment to ensure compliance with quality systems.
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety, housekeeping, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will carry out electrical safety testing across a wide range of products, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and ISO/IEC 17025 requirem.

Skills and requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Alternative HNC/HND in electrical engineering with relevant work experience.
  • Full Driving Licence for use in the UK.
  • Familiarity with EU/UK safety directives.
