Electrician

This Electrician opportunity is built around bring your proven track record of carrying out electrical installations in a domestic dwelling to support the Hampshire electrical team. It would suit someone who can bring work alone primarily, so you’ll be confident working to your own initiative, but you will get plenty of support from our regional supervisors to the role.

Our electrical team is expanding and has exciting opportunities for you to join us working around the Hampshire area. The team get together for team meetings, and you’ll attend toolbox talks for regular training and company updates.

What you would be doing

Bring your proven track record of carrying out electrical installations in a domestic dwelling to support the Hampshire electrical team. As an electrician, you’ll know that safety is priority therefore you’ll have knowledge and understanding of safety regulations and will carry out all works in line with this. Also liaise with our internal colleagues to ensure works are completed and any ongoing works are logged appropriately.

Work alone primarily, so you’ll be confident working to your own initiative, but you will get plenty of support from our regional supervisors. Enjoy providing high quality service to our customers whilst being the friendly face of Aster.

What you need

• Have a flexible approach to work with the ability to take part in an out of hours standby rota within your region.
• Be able to work effectively in a team and autonomously when necessary and have enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service and an ability to keep calm in difficult situatio.
• Be a fully qualified electrician, holding an AM2 qualification or equivalent & a 2391 city & guilds or equivalent, with demonstrable experience in domestic electrical installations.
