Electrician

The Electrician position with Yarl's Wood IRC in Retail centres on inspect, maintain, repair, install, design, or improve technical systems according to the role. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Role overview

At least 5 years associated trade experience post apprenticeship and must be prepared to undertake training courses to expand on their technical abilities if required by the busine. Finally commitment and flexibility is a must – you will work as part of on an on call rostered team, currently 1 in 9.

Engineering work involved

• Inspect, maintain, repair, install, design, or improve technical systems according to the role.
• Diagnose issues, complete checks, and keep records or handovers accurate.

Technical skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
