Electrician focuses on maintaining, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lighting, and wiring.

What the role involves

• Maintaining, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lighting, and wiring.
• Test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information.
• Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components.

Skills and requirements

• NVQ level 3 or above.
• Proven ability to deliver high quality electrical works to meet client expectations on projects whilst maintaining efficient output.
• Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment.
