What the role involves

• Installing, wiring, and connecting solar PV systems.
• Carrying out electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning.
• Ensuring all installations comply with current regulations and standards (e.g. BS 7671).
• Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Working collaboratively with roofers and installation teams on-site.
• Providing excellent service to customers where required.

Skills and requirements

• Testing & inspection qualifications (e.g. 2391).
• Experience in renewable energy or similar sectors.

Candidate fit

• Fully qualified Electrician (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Proven experience in electrical installation (domestic and/or commercial).
