Electrician focuses on carry out routine servicing and response repairs to electrical services equipment, including fault diagnosis and rectification.

What the role involves

  • Carry out routine servicing and response repairs to electrical services equipment, including fault diagnosis and rectification.
  • Repair of building services installations, including lighting, power, emergency lighting systems, energy conservation, heating controls, hot water systems and renewable systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines, statutory acts and regulations.
  • Undertake as directed the planned preventative maintenance programme (PPM) related to Electrical Inspections and Testing within a wide variety of buildings.
  • Assisting all other trades as and when required.

Skills and requirements

  • Our experts have extensive experience of advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors and across industries.
  • Time Served Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • 18th Edition qualified with amendment.
  • City & Guilds Electrical Inspection & Testing (2391).
