Electrician Technician

Electrician Technician focuses on repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.

What the role involves

• Repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Resolve electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Test and certify electrical installations where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety requirements.

Skills and requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on electrical installation or maintenance experience.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Inspection & Testing Qualification (2391 or equivalent).

Candidate fit

• Qualified Electrician with an 18th Edition certification, JIB Gold Card, and proven experience in commercial, retail, or industrial electrical maintenance and installation.
