Emergency Care Technician

The Emergency Care Technician position centres on the Emergency Department is a 24-hour service provided to the surrounding community, including minor and major illness / injury for adults and children. It would suit someone who can bring people who are caring and compassionate and who have strong communication and observation skills to deliver excellent patient-focused care in a challenging environment to the role.

Work days, nights and weekends to meet the needs of the service. An exciting opportunity has become available to recruit Emergency Care Technicians to work within The Emergency Department.

What the role carries

The Emergency Department is a 24-hour service provided to the surrounding community, including minor and major illness / injury for adults and children. To provide clinical support as part of the nursing team in the Emergency Department.

To provide evidence- based holistic patient care for this group of patients using acute nursing knowledge and skills acquired as part of an in house training package.
