Job description

As an Engineering and Workshop Manager, the work centres on managing and be responsible for the Workshop and Engineering Department including a team of HGV Technicians, Engineers, a Service Coordinator and Administrator. It would suit someone who can bring dependable and self-motivated on the road to the role.

Role overview

Complete risk assessments and maintain health and safety standards. Hours of Work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Main responsibilities

Managing and be responsible for the Workshop and Engineering Department including a team of HGV Technicians, Engineers, a Service Coordinator and Administrator. Meet agreed KPI’s, implement positive change, manage weak and strong performance. Oversea the maintenance of our fleet of HGV, Plant Equipment and Material Handling Equipment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of running a busy HGV fleet workshop.
  • Previous experience of working in a fast moving maintenance environment.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Outlook and other computer based programs.
