Job description

The Engineering Design Coordinator position centres on utilise key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to monitor JDO's performance across designated buildings. It would suit someone who can bring organisation, accuracy, and dependable communication to the role.

What the work involves

  • Utilise key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to monitor JDO's performance across designated buildings.
  • Look for and define opportunities to implement and improve processes and ways of working.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all design and construction changes to meet the demands of construction.

Working environment

Participate in readiness reviews of Design Packages before construction, as requested by design owners. Collaborate closely with Design teams, Contractors, and Construction teams to uphold technical quality standards, construction schedules, and safety protocols.

Candidate fit

careful practical judgement. Familiarity with Contract Management, especially ONR and CDM Regulations, coupled with a talent for maintaining accurate records, is essential. Specifically in large multi-discipled engineering projects, preferably nuclear, working in a variety of different capacities.

Skills and requirements

  • For this role, we're looking for you to hold a degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent along with relevant experience in this field.
