Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager focuses on provide strategic and operational management of the engineering team, including cctv and car park maintenance and inspection.

What the role involves

• Provide strategic and operational management of the Engineering Team, including CCTV and car park maintenance and inspection.
• Develop staff, including appraisal, deployment, motivation and discipline.
• Managing service budgets, ensuring effective financial control and value for money.
• Act as the Service lead for Health and Safety and represent the Service on the corporate Health and Safety Group.
• Assisting the Head of Technical Services with operational management, service priorities, policy development and performance monitoring.
• Deliver engineering projects relating to car parking, drainage, bridges and organisational land assets.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience in managing staff, budgets and contracts.
• Full support and training will be provided where required.
