The English Literature Examiner AS & A Level position centres on we will make sure that you are fully trained so you understand the exam process and your part in it. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.
Why this role may suit you
Typically, the marking window is 2-3 weeks long and falls within the period May to July. As a guideline, you can expect the target to be between 200 and 450 scripts.
What you would be doing
We will make sure that you are fully trained so you understand the exam process and your part in it. EmployerLocationAs an examiner, you will mark completed exam papers against a mark scheme, working as part of a team with a supervisor who will guide you through the process and an. supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment.
What you need
- Relevant teaching experience within the last three years. We also consider PGCE students who have completed the classroom teaching element of their course.
- A teaching qualification or a degree in a related subject.
- Previous or current teaching experience within the UK education system.
