Enterprise Systems Technician

This Enterprise Systems Technician role is focused on reporting to the Enterprise Systems Manager, the role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of SMD’s Enterprise Systems. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Why this role may suit you

Map and document system processes and interfaces and suggest improvements. Responsible for providing assistance to customers needing to resolve problems with their computer systems in an enterprise and multi-site infrastructure by answering service reques.

Engineering work involved

Reporting to the Enterprise Systems Manager, the role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of SMD’s Enterprise Systems. First port of call in supporting the SMD Enterprise Systems architecture to support Engineering Excellence. Work with technical support (SMD and third parties) to ensure the uptime and usability of SMD’s core enterprise systems (PDM and ERP).

• Experience in using & maintaining a technical database.
