Environmental and Sustainability Manager
Environmental and Sustainability Manager focuses on supporting the delivery of ground control’s environmental and sustainability strategy.
What the role involves
- Supporting the delivery of Ground Control’s environmental and sustainability strategy.
- Supporting carbon reporting and reduction plans aligned to Net Zero and PAS 2080.
- Supporting tenders, bids, and client submissions as a subject matter expert.
- Also get full exposure across all our divisions and business lines, making this a genuinely varied 12 months.
- You must currently have or be very close to gaining PIEMA qualification as a minimum ideally with a degree in Environmental Science or similar.
- Any experience within utilities, rail, infrastructure, or environmental services is a real bonus as well as knowledge of carbon reporting, Net Zero programmes, or PAS 2080.
Skills and requirements
- Experience supporting audits, compliance processes, or environmental assessments.
- Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland as and when required.

Confirmed role details
- Field-based hybrid role — split across site, home, and office depending on business needs.
- 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover).
- 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
