Environmental and Sustainability Manager

Environmental and Sustainability Manager focuses on supporting the delivery of ground control’s environmental and sustainability strategy.

What the role involves

• Supporting the delivery of Ground Control’s environmental and sustainability strategy.
• Supporting carbon reporting and reduction plans aligned to Net Zero and PAS 2080.
• Supporting tenders, bids, and client submissions as a subject matter expert.
• Also get full exposure across all our divisions and business lines, making this a genuinely varied 12 months.
• You must currently have or be very close to gaining PIEMA qualification as a minimum ideally with a degree in Environmental Science or similar.
• Any experience within utilities, rail, infrastructure, or environmental services is a real bonus as well as knowledge of carbon reporting, Net Zero programmes, or PAS 2080.

Skills and requirements

• Experience supporting audits, compliance processes, or environmental assessments.
• Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland as and when required.

Confirmed role details

• Field-based hybrid role — split across site, home, and office depending on business needs.
• 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover).
• 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
