What you would be doing

Supporting health and safety risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations across all departments including labs, production, R&D, and facilities. Supporting the management of biological, chemical, radiological, and ergonomic hazards commonly encountered in pharmaceutical and biotech operations. Supporting in representing the company in external audits and inspections (e.g. HSE, MHRA, Environment Agency).

What you need

• Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations, including but not limited to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a health and safety leadership role within pharmaceutical, biotech, or related regulated industries.
• Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent (essential).

Practical information

• You must have the right to work permanently in the UK with a willingness to travel as necessary.
• Live in, or within easy commuting distance of, Oxford.
