Project Manager focuses on assisting with emergency inland oil spill response, including installation of absorption booms, pumps, vapour extraction fans, aeration systems etc.

What the role involves

  • Assisting with emergency inland oil spill response, including installation of absorption booms, pumps, vapour extraction fans, aeration systems etc.
  • Assisting in undertaking groundworks, trial pitting etc.
  • Preparing & send samples to accredited laboratories.
  • Liaise with contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Procedures.
  • Provide accurate written site notes and feedback to the Project Manager from site.

Skills and requirements

  • We operate a 24/7 response service for our clients, as such you may be required to work out of normal operating hours, for which you are compensated.
  • Candidates with a CSCS card are encouraged to apply, albeit the company will provide the necessary training.
  • Our key requirement is for a confident, personable and practical individual with a flexible attitude to work.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

  • £28,000 - £30,000, dependent on experience.
