Environmental Technician
Project Manager focuses on assisting with emergency inland oil spill response, including installation of absorption booms, pumps, vapour extraction fans, aeration systems etc.
What the role involves
- Assisting with emergency inland oil spill response, including installation of absorption booms, pumps, vapour extraction fans, aeration systems etc.
- Assisting in undertaking groundworks, trial pitting etc.
- Preparing & send samples to accredited laboratories.
- Liaise with contractors.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Procedures.
- Provide accurate written site notes and feedback to the Project Manager from site.
Skills and requirements
- We operate a 24/7 response service for our clients, as such you may be required to work out of normal operating hours, for which you are compensated.
- Candidates with a CSCS card are encouraged to apply, albeit the company will provide the necessary training.
- Our key requirement is for a confident, personable and practical individual with a flexible attitude to work.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Confirmed role details
- £28,000 - £30,000, dependent on experience.
