Equipment Technician
The Equipment Technician position centres on ensure all operational equipment is maintained to protect fire crews and the public. It would suit someone who can bring technical judgement, safe working habits, careful diagnostics, and practical problem-solving to the role.
Role overview

Engineering work involved
Undertake on station inspections of equipment where required. Ensure all operational equipment is maintained to protect fire crews and the public. Supporting emergency response capability by maintaining fleet and equipment availability.

Technical skills and requirements
- Full clean UK driving licence Cat B minimum, no previous driving disqualifications.
- Experience of conducting routine engineering inspections and servicing on equipment/machinery to ensure they are compliant, safe, and ready to use.
- Experience of working as part of a small team and under own initiative.
