The opportunity

We’re looking for a curious, analytically minded eTrade Analyst to help shape the future of our rapidly growing SME eTrade portfolio.

Since launching our suite of eTrade products, our SME business has seen significant growth. Now we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data, spotting patterns, and turning insight into action. Just as importantly, you’ll be confident in presenting those insights clearly and credibly to senior stakeholders, helping to inform decision‑making and influence the direction of our SME products.

Our SME Portfolio Underwriting team plays a vital role in ensuring sustainable, profitable growth. You’ll work closely with Portfolio Managers and senior colleagues, using analytics to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and support strategic conversations in a fast‑paced insurance environment.

Whether you’re early in your career or bringing existing experience, this role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact. If you have the right mindset, are comfortable communicating with confidence, and are eager to learn, we’ll support you with the tools, training, and development to grow both your analytical and technical capabilities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insight under the guidance of Portfolio Managers.
  • Deliver regular analysis to support data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of SME products through analytical recommendations.
  • Build a strong understanding of market trends, distribution channels and the competitive landscape.
  • Play an active role in a collaborative, inclusive and supportive team culture.
  • What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in underwriting or claims, or a good understanding of insurance processes.
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to interpret trends and outcomes.
  • Some exposure to using data analysis to support decisions or profitability insights (desirable, not essential).
  • Confidence in communicating insights clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • What will you get in return?
