What the role involves

• The post holder will lead service development, workforce management, safeguarding practices, and financial oversight to deliver excellent outcomes for children and families.
• Leading the day-to-day management of childcare services across multiple nursery settings.
• Driving continuous improvement in early years education and childcare standards.
• Leading service planning, self-evaluation, and development planning across centres.
• Ensure high-quality provision aligned with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for childcare provision.

Skills and requirements

• Significant experience managing childcare or early years services.
• Experience within public sector childcare/education services.
• Proven experience of leading teams and managing staff performance.
• Experience managing budgets and financial planning.

Confirmed role details

• 36 hours per week.
