Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Be confident working within Reception and have a strong understanding of early childhood development and EYFS frameworks.

Main responsibilities

Supporting teaching and learning within a Reception classroom. Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Delivering targeted phonics sessions and supporting early literacy development.

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Familiarity with online assessment tools such as Too Simple (2Simple) or Tapestry.
• Proven experience working within an EYFS setting, particularly Reception.

Job details

• Pay: £14.25 per hour | Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (30-minute lunch break).
• The school is based in the BB4 area of Rossendale, with good transport links:.
• Regular bus services linking Rawtenstall, Haslingden, and surrounding villages.
• Accessible for commuters from Burnley, Bury, Blackburn, and Greater Manchester.
