Job description
The Support Worker position centres on preparing boxes containing samples to be collected by the courier at the end of every shift. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.
Who the work supports
These roles will be working locally in the South-West area providing Phlebotomy & Healthcare Research services. This is an established programme that is looking for new candidates as it moves into its next phase.
How support shows up
Preparing boxes containing samples to be collected by the courier at the end of every shift. Complete POCT cholesterol checks on all participants. These include height, weight and waist measurements captured, taking heart rate and blood pressure checks and inputting result. Draw two blood samples for each participant, labelling and storing correctly.

What needs to be in place
- Recent phlebotomy experience of at least 12 months.
- You must be willing to fully register with our agency.
- These will be long days working between 7.45am – 6.15pm weekdays, 8.45am – 5.15 pm Saturdays with Sunday hours being 10.45am – 4.15pm.
Job details
- 2-3 days per week, shift patterns vary.
