Experienced Social Worker — Assessment and Child Protection

We now have opportunities to join our Assessment and Child Protection Service (ACP) with some fantastic benefits. The ACP team undertake assessments and investigations of any issues relating to child protection.

The service is provided by Experienced Social Workers, who carry out statutory assessments involving home visits, consulting with other professionals / practitioners and agencies, gathering information for the assessment and analyzing the potential risk to any child or young person. After the completion of the assessment, the case is either closed or held to the point of transfer to the Long Term Locality Teams.

If successful, you will receive free parking on campus, a permit for local visits, in addition to up to £100 weekly expenses for travel/accommodation. You have access to training and a supportive, learning environment. Our ACP social workers are expected to be in the office 1 week out 5.
