Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation. Help manage behaviour and maintain a structured learning environment.

What needs to be in place

  • OR a Level 2 / Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Experience working with children in any setting (school, care, youth work, support roles).
  • Experience supporting pupils with ALN/SEN or behavioural needs is highly desirable.

  • Teaching Personnel are recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to work full-time in primary schools across Newport.
  • Individuals who have either formal TA qualifications or hands-on experience supporting children, particularly those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN/SEN).
  • This role is ideal for candidates who are confident in the classroom and can make an immediate impact, whether their experience comes from schools, care settings, youth work or sim.
