Opportunity to grow with a firm that has clear ambitions for expansion This is an opportunity to join a well-established, close-knit high-street firm in Staffordshire that is looking to grow significantly over the coming years.
You’ll step into a busy Wills & Probate / Private Client role, handling your own caseload with support from two other solicitors in the team. The work is varied and client-focused, ranging from straightforward wills through to more complex estate administration, trusts and inheritance tax planning.
The firm has a strong local presence and values long-term client relationships, offering a supportive environment where quality of work and client care come first.
Who we’re looking for
Experienced Wills & Probate Paralegal
Experience managing a private client caseload independently
Experience with estate administration, including taxable estates and IHT reporting
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
Comfortable meeting billing targets and managing time recording
Confident, empathetic and client-focused approach What you’ll be doing
Managing a varied Private Client caseload including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, LPAs and IHT planning
Advising clients on estate planning, succession planning and asset protection
Drafting wills, trust documentation and deeds of variation
Administering estates from initial instruction through to final distribution
Identifying legal, tax and practical risks within estates and advising accordingly
Delivering clear, sensitive advice to clients, often in emotional circumstances
Building and maintaining strong client relationships and repeat work
Using case management systems and ensuring full regulatory compliance Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary depending on experience
Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Full-time preferred, but 4 days per week considered
Flexible working hours around a 9am–5pm structure
21 days holiday, increasing with length of service
