Job description

As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on supporting children’s learning through planned play‑based and adult‑led activities. It would suit someone who can bring in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date to the role.

Role overview

We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Main responsibilities

Supporting children’s learning through planned play‑based and adult‑led activities. Supporting children with personal care needs where required. Observe, record and contribute to assessments of children’s progress.

What helps someone succeed

In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Requirements

  • Have experience of working with young children (EYFS experience desirable).
  • Relevant childcare, early years, or classroom-support experience.
