Fabricator focuses on fabricate from a drawing or sketch and fully weld carbon steel.

What the role involves

• Fabricate from a drawing or sketch and fully weld carbon steel.
• Stainless steel structures including access platforms, ladders, handrailing & general light to medium duty fabrications.
• Onsite installation of carbon steel and stainless-steel structures.
• Ensure that all company H&S policies and procedures are followed to ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• Promote a culture of working safely as routine.
• Occasionally you may be asked to work away for a short period of time.

Skills and requirements

• Minimum 5+ years MIG welding experience - weld test will be carried out during interview.
• Time served within fabrication minimum City & Guilds.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Experience working with power tools such as grinders and drills.
