Facilities Manager
Facilities Manager focuses on managing the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of buildings, plant, equipment, and site grounds.
What the role involves
- Managing the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of buildings, plant, equipment, and site grounds.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and corporate EHS standards.
- Maintaining statutory compliance across all facilities areas, including fire safety, asbestos, legionella, and PSSR.
- Monitor planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
- Manage, and performance‑monitor external contractors and service providers.
- Manage capital projects, refurbishments, and lifecycle planning initiatives.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience managing both hard and soft facilities services.
- Experience of facilities management within a complex manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of building services, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and fire systems.
- A recognized qualification such as IOSH, NEBOSH, IWFM, or equivalent.
