The Opportunity & Role Profile
This major secondary academy, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, requires a strategic and highly experienced Facilities Manager. The role is critical for ensuring the safety, compliance, and strategic maintenance of the campus, driving operational excellence within this top-tier educational environment.
Core Responsibilities & Scope
Strategic Visionary: Developing and implementing long-term Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategies and managing maintenance budgets effectively.
Compliance Controller: Full accountability for all statutory and regulatory compliance (H&S, Fire, Water) and rigorous management of all external service contracts.
Team Leadership: Direct line management of the Caretaking, Site, and Cleaning staff teams.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Extensive managerial experience in facilities management (ideally within an institutional setting) and relevant technical qualifications (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH).
Salary Range: Highly competitive salary paid on the academy trust scale (expected to be £48,000 - £58,000 per annum).
