Family Solicitor focuses on managing a caseload of legal aid matters, under supervision, ensuring cases and transactions are progressed efficiently.
What the role involves
- Managing a caseload of legal aid matters, under supervision, ensuring cases and transactions are progressed efficiently.
- Liaising directly with clients to take instructions and providing clear guidance that meets client expectations.
- Working closely with Partners and senior Lawyers to enhance client relationship skills.
- Proactively building and strengthening relationships with smaller clients.
- Scoping and pricing work effectively, with appropriate supervision.
- Preparing and progressing advocacy matters while negotiating appropriate outcomes for clients.
Skills and requirements
- Is open to candidates from newly qualified level up to approximately five years’ post-qualification experience.
- Qualified Solicitor.
- Experience in Private Law Children and Domestic Abuse matters.
- Ability to manage files with minimal supervision.
