Family Solicitor focuses on managing a caseload of legal aid matters, under supervision, ensuring cases and transactions are progressed efficiently.

What the role involves

• Managing a caseload of legal aid matters, under supervision, ensuring cases and transactions are progressed efficiently.
• Liaising directly with clients to take instructions and providing clear guidance that meets client expectations.
• Working closely with Partners and senior Lawyers to enhance client relationship skills.
• Proactively building and strengthening relationships with smaller clients.
• Scoping and pricing work effectively, with appropriate supervision.
• Preparing and progressing advocacy matters while negotiating appropriate outcomes for clients.

Skills and requirements

• Is open to candidates from newly qualified level up to approximately five years’ post-qualification experience.
• Qualified Solicitor.
• Experience in Private Law Children and Domestic Abuse matters.
• Ability to manage files with minimal supervision.
