This Support Worker opportunity is built around the client lives in her own home and requires care 1-1 24 hours per day. It would suit someone who can bring patience, clear communication, and respectful care standards to the role.

Westcountry Case Management - Maximising potential for over 20 years! She is dependent on assistance for all transfers and personal care.
How support shows up
The client lives in her own home and requires care 1-1 24 hours per day. Supporting workers will assist the client to access community activities and complete therapy programmes under the direction of therapists.
The approach that fits
Handling shift-by-shift responsibilities with consistency and care. We are looking to recruit a patient, warm, caring and reliable *Female Support Worker to work with our client is a 39-year-old fun loving lady who has cerebral palsy. Strong professional approach.
What needs to be in place
- Have experience of managing others and knowledge of organising staff rotas will be required.
Job details
- Be female (Due to the occupational nature of the role. This post is compliant with Paragraph 1, Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 relating to Occupational Requirements.).
- Ideally these will be split between 2 people.
- Have some experience of caring for people with physical and/or learning disabilities.
- Have a positive interest in active rehabilitation and a desire to enable this person to reach her full potential.
