Field Service Engineer focuses on calibration/validation ectronic instrumentation to maintain functionality and accuracy.
What the role involves
- Calibration/validation ectronic instrumentation to maintain functionality and accuracy.
- Both Keysight and non-Keysight products are serviced. Work is performed at a customer location.
- Performing routine tasks, using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgment.
- Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
- Understand customers’ requirements through face to face and written communication.
- Travel to customer sites >75% performing calibrations (On-site).
Skills and requirements
- Education and technical knowledge within sector and role.
- Relevant experience in calibration of Test & Measurement equipment (focus on RF/MW).
- Certifications as an electronic/electrical technician.
- IT knowledge (Windows, Office).
