Finance Assistant Part Time, Remote
Remote | Circa £28,000 FTE + Excellent Benefits | hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a mission-driven, international not-for-profit organisation tackling global health and sustainability challenges. This is a fully remote, part-time role (approx. hours per week), ideally suited to a finance professional with experience in the charity or non-profit sector. Offering a pro-rata salary of circa £28,000 FTE, the role supports the organisation's finance operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance within a small, impactful team. Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, including processing invoices and expense claims
Support the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle, including budget tracking
Assist with preparation for audits and financial reporting to funders
Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow
Ensure compliance with financial policies and charity sector regulations
What Experience is Required
Previous finance experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector
Proficiency in financial software ( Xero or similar) and Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting
