Finance Business Partner focuses on leading on configuration and administration of financial systems, ensuring compliance and optimisation.
What the role involves
- Leading on configuration and administration of financial systems, ensuring compliance and optimisation.
- Overseeing system upgrades, testing, and liaison with external providers.
- Supporting the preparation and completion of Financial Statements, including audit coordination and compliance with Codes of Practice.
- Ensure monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet control accounts (cash, debtors, creditors) and Police Pension accounts.
- Maintain accurate cash flow forecasting.
- Support to the Finance Officer (Trainee Accountant).
Skills and requirements
- Experience with local authority accounting and systems administration.
- Ability to write reports using Crystal or SQL to enhance financial reporting.
