Finance Director

Finance Director focuses on manage the finance team, including transactional finance operations supporting emea business units.

What the role involves

• Manage the finance team, including transactional finance operations supporting EMEA business units.
• Partner with the Managing Director and Leadership Team to deliver financial objectives.
• Ensure the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and business plans.
• Provide clear financial insight, analysis, and reporting to support effective decisionmaking across the business.
• Maintain the Group control environment in line with the Group Accounting Manual and related policies.
• Overseeing the accuracy and integrity of financial systems, accounting records, and internal controls.

Skills and requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), ideally with a Big 4 background.
• Significant postqualification experience (circa 5+ years) in a senior finance or financial management role.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance data accuracy and timely decisionmaking.
• Proven leadership capability with experience influencing and partnering across crossfunctional teams.

• This role is based Onsite in Hull and will require regular travel across Europe.
