What the role involves
- Leading day-to-day financial management and reporting in collaboration with the Group Financial Controller.
- Overseeing cash controls, ensuring strong governance and effective oversight of the organisation’s financial position.
- Supporting the delivery of year-end processes, ensuring financial records are complete, well-documented, and audit ready.
- Maintaining high technical standards across the finance function, with a strong focus on double-entry principles.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen controls, and improve reporting quality.
Skills and requirements
- Assist with group consolidations where required, ensuring consistency and technical accuracy.
- Full qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Availability at short notice, with the ability to quickly embed into an interim assignment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and a clear understanding of debits and credits.
