Finance Manager focuses on leading day-to-day financial management and reporting in collaboration with the group financial controller.

What the role involves

• Leading day-to-day financial management and reporting in collaboration with the Group Financial Controller.
• Overseeing cash controls, ensuring strong governance and effective oversight of the organisation’s financial position.
• Supporting the delivery of year-end processes, ensuring financial records are complete, well-documented, and audit ready.
• Maintaining high technical standards across the finance function, with a strong focus on double-entry principles.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen controls, and improve reporting quality.

Skills and requirements

• Assist with group consolidations where required, ensuring consistency and technical accuracy.
• Full qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Availability at short notice, with the ability to quickly embed into an interim assignment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and a clear understanding of debits and credits.
