Finance Manager

Finance Manager focuses on overseeing the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of financial records in line with finance service level agreements (e.g., slas).

What the role involves

• Overseeing the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of financial records in line with finance Service Level Agreements (e.g., SLAs).
• Managing the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations (e.g., define process and timeline for reconciling intercompany transactions between regions during month e.

Candidate fit

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a finance operations role, preferably within a shared service centre environment.
• Strong understanding of key finance processes and systems.
