Where the work sits

This is an exciting opportunity to line manage the Area Finance Team (including the Travel Desk) and ensure their work assists with the smooth running of the Constabulary and OPCC’. Apply and maintain controls necessary to ensure accurate and timely work according to the agreed service standards.

How the role works day to day

Be responsible for ensuring that all members of the team follow the prescribed procedures to process order requests. Monitoring the contract for collection of cash from Police premises and ensure that issues are raised and escalated where necessary. Maintaining an awareness of corporate and departmental equalities and health and safety policies and procedures and apply them in the day to day job requirements.
