Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant focuses on leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close (accruals, prepayments, journals).

What the role involves

• Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close (accruals, prepayments, journals).
• Preparing and submit financials, forecasts, and budgets via reporting systems.
• Supporting the Financial Controller with audits, projects, and ad hoc activities.
• Ensure shared service teams deliver against KPIs and follow robust processes.
• Delivering monthly performance reporting across full P&L (Revenue to EBIT).
• Maintaining reporting system mappings across finance and BI tools.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant finance, accounts, payroll, Excel, bookkeeping, or accounting-system experience may be required.

• Rate: £200-£225 per day (via umbrella).
