Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant focuses on audit support: to support the finance manager in areas of audit including production of statutory accounts. working with the finance manager to create a new stat model.

What the role involves

• Audit support: To support the Finance manager in areas of Audit including production of Statutory Accounts. Working with the finance manager to create a new Stat model.
• Tax accounting: To calculate and submit VAT returns for the group and calculating and submitting Corporation Tax returns for the group.
• Provide insights for decision-making.
• Month-end Close: Support the Finance Manager with the month end pack and tasks as required.
• Ad Hoc Projects : Participating in special projects or initiatives as assigned by management, which may involve process improvement initiatives, or other ad hoc tasks.
• Ensure the organisation's financial practices adhere to legal requirements as well as providing technical accounting support to the team where required.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant finance, accounts, payroll, Excel, bookkeeping, or accounting-system experience may be required.

• Summary of role We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join The London Clinic, based at our Head Office in London (NW1 4LJ) on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
• We are offering a competitive inclusive salary starting at £60,000 per annum.
• Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 150+ patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive/day surgery theatres.
