As a Financial Adviser, the work centres on establish and regularly review clients’ risk profiles and financial objectives, ensuring they are specific, measurable, and aligned with their needs and aspirations. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

How the role is set up

Chartered is £75K base PLUS A discretionary quarter bonus, 50% on any new fees and other additional bonuses. Regulatory Compliance & Professional Standards Ensure full compliance with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, FCA Conduct Rules, Statements of Principle, and all other re.

Sales work involved

Establish and regularly review clients’ risk profiles and financial objectives, ensuring they are specific, measurable, and aligned with their needs and aspirations. Clearly articulate the rationale, benefits, risks, and potential drawbacks of all recommendations, ensuring suitability and transparency. Drafting simple suitability reports from existing templates where applicable.

Sales skills and experience

• Conduct comprehensive fact-finding to assess clients’ personal and financial circumstances, financial knowledge, experience, attitude to risk, and capacity for loss.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or Chartered as well as Competent Adviser Status (CAS) and current SPS.
• Demonstrate understanding in all areas of financial advice including: Investments, Pensions, Personal Tax, Estate Planning and Protection.

• Meet agreed annual targets for new business income and service-related KPIs.
• Proactively generate and convert new business opportunities, including prospecting and following up with potential clients in line with the firm’s business plan.
• Promote the firm’s central investment proposition and migrate clients where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with paraplanners, administrators, compliance teams, and investment managers to ensure holistic, compliant, and efficient advice delivery.
