Financial Controller Group Functions (ES & People)

The Financial Controller Group Functions (ES & People) position centres on local stewardship and control of the financial affairs of specific Group functions in accordance with the Group Finance strategy, policy and procedures. It would suit someone who can bring handling cycle-by-cycle responsibilities with consistency and care to the role.

Where the work sits

Your responsibilities will include: Line management responsibility for 5 accountants supporting the reporting across all Group functions. This role is 37 hours per week based at Farnborough head office with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.

• Experience of working in complex matrix organisations and across multiple jurisdictions/time-zones.
• Commercially astute: ability to commercially assess, challenge and contribute to investment decisions and other key financial judgements on behalf of the Group.
• Strategic thinker: ability to think long- term and beyond immediate area of responsibility, requiring sector awareness, critical analysis and integration of information and the abi.
