Financial Controller

Financial Controller focuses on preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cashflow statements.

What the role involves

• Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cashflow statements.
• Ensure all financial reporting is compliant with accounting standards FRS102.
• Leading the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Leading on the production of our monthly board pack, providing detailed analysis and commentary on financial results.
• Maintaining and improve internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and UK tax requirements and liaise with auditors and tax authorities as needed.

Skills and requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Excel with demonstrated technical expertise.
• CIMA or ACCA qualified, with a minimum of 3-5 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not mandatory.
