Financial Controller focuses on preparing consolidated financial statements for the group, including a balance sheet, ie statement, cash flow, and equity statements.

What the role involves

• Preparing consolidated financial statements for the group, including a balance sheet, ie statement, cash flow, and equity statements.
• Ensure elimination of intra-group transactions and balances during consolidation.
• Update group structure and ownership records for accurate reporting.
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting cycles.
• Liaise with subsidiaries to ensure timely submission of financial data andpliance with group accounting policies.
• Assisting with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries related to consolidation.

Skills and requirements

• Experience in group reporting and multi-entity consolidation.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with consolidation software.
• Exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Audit background (Big 4 or mid-tier) desirable.
