Where the technical work sits

  • Preparing reporting to internal governance committees.
  • Assisting in ensuring APUK’s payment activities operate in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements by monitoring the compliance of business activity.

Technical requirements

  • Applying working knowledge of Financial Crime regulations and Payment Services Regulations and Policies to articulate customer/control impact and drive alignment across teams.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant regulations by monitor regulatory change and emerging risk from regulatory sources, to proactively communicate key developments to interna.
  • Strong knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, UK Financial Crime compliance frameworks, and Payment Services Regulations 2017.
