Financial Director

As a Financial Director, the work centres on overseeing day-to-day finance operations (including Xero, invoicing and credit control, cashflow, banking and investments, payroll, commissions/bonuses and contractor payroll). It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.

What the work leans on

Develop insightful MI and provide clear, commercial advice to support strategic decisions. Actively manage financial risk and support wider improvements to systems, reporting and profitability.

Where the technical work sits

• Overseeing day-to-day finance operations (including Xero, invoicing and credit control, cashflow, banking and investments, payroll, commissions/bonuses and contractor payroll).
• Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle.
• Leading on statutory and regulatory compliance for our UK and UAE entities, working with external advisers.

Technical requirements

• A qualified (or part-qualified) CIMA / ACCA / ACA finance professional with substantial experience leading or managing finance in an SME or similar environment.
• Strong track record in management accounts, cashflow forecasting and financial analysis.
• Confidence overseeing payroll and incentive schemes.
