What the role involves

• Oversee servicing schedules, inspections, MOT preparation, defect management, breakdown response, and vehicle downtime, ensuring the fleet remains efficient and operational at all.
• A key focus of the role will be driving commercial performance across the fleet function.
• Applicants should possess strong technical knowledge of HGVs, trailers, and associated parts, with the confidence to challenge supplier pricing and recommendations where necessary.
• Be an experienced Fleet Manager (HGV) with strong related compliance awareness and knowledge of road transport regulations.
• Transport Manager CPC would be advantageous.
• Be a confident communicator with the ability to coordinate internal and external teams.
