Fleet Safety Manager

Fleet Safety Manager focuses on to support sunbelt line managers who hold responsibility for drivers within a depot, business or a region to ensure the business remains compliant.

What the role involves

• To support Sunbelt Line Managers who hold responsibility for drivers within a depot, business or a region to ensure the business remains compliant.
• To lead the development and roll out of the Advanced Driver Safety Technology programme, including driver recognition initiatives.
• Support the Line Managers where necessary to ensure this occurs in an effective and timely manner.
• To support Line Managers with road traffic accident investigations, following up, and finalising action plans.
• To take the lead on high potential collisions and incidents.
• To form pro-active relationships with key stakeholders (internal & external).

Additional role context

• Our Fleet Safety Team will provide first line support to over 2500 professional and vocational drivers across the North, Midlands & South of the UK & Ireland.
• These vital roles will support the continued development of our LGV, LCV & car driver communities to improve driver safety which shall in turn protect the safety of other road user.
